Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Jerry's Towing, a Midwest Star Group company, in Roberts, WI. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of heavy-duty trucks and equipment, ensuring they are safe and operational at all times. This position requires a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing top-notch service.
Key Responsibilities:- Performing routine maintenance on diesel engines, transmissions, and brakes
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues in a timely manner
- Conducting inspections and ensuring compliance with safety regulations
- Keeping accurate records of all repairs and maintenance work
- Collaborating with other team members to prioritize and complete tasks efficiently
- 3+ years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic
- Certification in diesel technology or a related field
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines and systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
