Essential Responsibilities
Kitchen Operations
- Manage and oversee daily expo operations to ensure accurate, timely, and high-quality food service (sidework, stocking, etc); Scheduling expos
- Coordinate communication between front-of-house and back-of-house teams during service
- Support kitchen workflow and assist chefs during busy shifts and peak periods
- Ensure all food is prepared and plated according to company standards
- Maintain high standards of kitchen cleanliness, organization, and sanitation
- Ensure compliance with health department regulations and food safety standards
- Monitor cleaning schedules and ensure completion of daily and weekly cleaning tasks
- Assist in maintaining equipment cleanliness and kitchen organization
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate product needs to leadership
- Help receive and organize deliveries
- Minimize waste through proper storage, rotation, and inventory practices
- Assist with preparation and coordination of party and catering food orders
- Ensure banquet and event food is prepared accurately and on schedule
- Work alongside chefs to support prep execution for large events and busy weekends
Provide hands-on leadership and support to kitchen staff
- Help train and reinforce kitchen procedures and expectations
- Promote teamwork, urgency, and a positive kitchen culture
- Step into various kitchen roles as needed to support operations
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
