The Blackberry Center, a Behavioral Hospital and Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation Center, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Director of Social Services to join our team in St. Cloud, Florida. Nestled in a tranquil setting just outside of Orlando, our Central Florida mental health facility provides patients with a safe place to reflect, reset, and heal. As a Director of Social Services, you will play a vital role in shaping the social services department and ensuring that our patients receive the highest level of care and support.
Responsibilities:
Provide innovative and effective leadership to the social services department, overseeing the development and implementation of social services programs and services
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless coordination of patient care and services
Develop and maintain relationships with community partners, fostering strong connections to support patient care and continuum of services
Recruit, train, and supervise social workers and other support staff, promoting a culture of excellence and compassion
Develop and manage department budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources and allocation of funds
Participate in quality improvement initiatives, driving continuous improvement and excellence in patient care
Requirements:
LCSW or LMHC Licensure
3+ years experience in Mental Health or Substance Abuse settings
