Warehouse / Forklift Operator
Ottawa, IL
Starting Pay: $18.00/hour
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:00 PM
Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable Warehouse Associate with forklift experience to join our team. This role involves loading and unloading trucks, building pallet loads, order picking, barcode scanning, and maintaining a clean warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will also be willing to serve as a backup box truck driver when needed.
Responsibilities
  • Operate an electric stand-up forklift safely and efficiently
  • Load and unload trucks
  • Build and stage customer orders (up to 10 stacks per pallet)
  • Pick orders and scan barcodes accurately
  • Sweep and maintain warehouse cleanliness
  • Lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Serve as a backup box truck driver as needed
Requirements
  • Previous forklift experience required
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds consistently
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
  • No history of violence or theft
  • Class C license, or willingness to obtain one within 30 days of hire (company assistance available)
