Pay: $35.00 - $65.00 per hour
Job description:
As the person representing the dining experience at MOSU we are looking for positive individuals who enjoy interacting with guests, are able to multitask, and are attentive. The server’s responsibilities will be to serve guests, explain and answer any questions related to our special cooking equipment and to be friendly, courteous and efficient.
Responsibilities
Help the team in Opening/Closing procedures.
Prepare restaurant tables with special attention to sanitation and order.
Set up and replenish server stands, salad stations and trash container liners.
Attend to customers upon entrance/being seated and keep a constant watch on your section. Be attentive, refill glasses, maintain table setting by removing courses as completed, replenish utensils and be alert to patron spills.
Present restaurant menus, answer questions and guide guests through menu, use of cooking equipment and help select food/beverages.
Review orders with guests and take note of any dietary restrictions or allergies.
Collaborate with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff.
Deal with complaints or problems with a positive attitude.
Issue bills and accept payments.

Requirements
2-3 years of proven restaurant serving experience (References required).
Hands-on experience in cashier duties, handle money accurately and operate POS systems.
Attention to cleanliness and safety.
Excellent people skills with a friendly attitude.
Responsible, trustworthy and shows accountability.
High school diploma is a plus but not required.
Ability to lift 30 pounds and to stand for 8 hours.
Ability to support and participate in a team-oriented environment.
Able to perform high-quality work while unsupervised.
