Provides overall direction and leadership to the clinical staff; Directs clinical components and facilitates organization-wide quality improvement and program development.
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
%CF; Implement all rules, policies and guidelines consistently
%CF; Maintain Facility Standards and inform Program Director of any deficiencies
%CF; Implement all facility health and safety standards
%CF; Support SUD IOP Facility's chain of command and maintain positive attitude in work environment
%CF; Maintain professionalism in interactions with staff and clients at all times and exercise maturity of judgment
%CF; Conduct in-service education and oversee all clinical staff development activities including needs assessment and training needs
%CF; Document in progress notes following professional protocol
%CF; Be available to all employees to address any concerns
%CF; Oversee clinical admission (admission assessment and preliminary treatment plan)
%CF; On-call for clinical emergencies and consultation
%CF; Responsible for overseeing the timely completion of the Clinical Admission notes and Master Treatment Plans for all new admissions.
%CF; Provide individual, group and family therapy
%CF; Provide psychological services as needed for clients; responsible for the provision of appropriate services
%CF; Facilitate weekly treatment planning meeting
%CF; Facilitate development of communication/organization systems to ensure efficient staff communication
%CF; Facilitate weekly group clinical supervision meeting with Clinical Staff
%CF; Review client’s records for quality of treatment documentation and planning
%CF; Participate in clinical quality assessment and improvement
%CF; Coordinate client care policy and procedure development and funnel updates to the CEO
%CF; Participate in the quality assurance and utilization review activities of the facility as directed by the CEO
%CF; Assist in the development and maintenance of program policies and procedures
%CF; Communicate with the CEO, COO and Director of Operations pertaining to all staff issues including proper staffing.

- Oversee individualized ISPs and initial ARTS authorization form.
- Monitor patient length of stay and extensions and inform the treatment team on any potential coverage issues.

%CF; Responsible for overseeing the timely completion of the Clinical Admission notes and Master Treatment Plans for all new admissions.

Qualifications:
- Masters or Ph.D. from accredited College or University in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, etc.
- Virginia license with the ability to supervise counselors and case managers
Minimum Required Skills and Experience:
- Must possess exceptional management skills, be highly organized and able to work well with clients and professionals at all levels in the organization.
- Must have strong leadership and communication skills as well as a thorough understanding of treating clients with substance and abuse and behavioral health care issues.
- 3 years experienced facilitating substance abuse or mental health groups in either residential or outpatient treatment settings.
