Addison Group is partnering with a growing service-based organization to hire a new contract-to-hire recruiter to support expanding business needs.
Job Description:
We are seeking an energetic and results-oriented Recruiter to manage hiring efforts for field-based and operational positions. This role will work closely with leadership teams to identify staffing needs, build talent pipelines, and oversee the recruitment process from sourcing through onboarding. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building relationships with candidates and hiring managers alike.
Key Responsibilities:
• Partner with operational leaders to understand current and future staffing needs across multiple locations.
• Develop creative sourcing strategies to identify qualified candidates through online platforms, networking, referrals, community partnerships, and recruiting events.
• Manage the entire hiring process, including candidate outreach, screening interviews, scheduling, offer presentation, and onboarding coordination.
• Build and maintain talent pools for driver, skilled labor, and field service positions.
• Coordinate pre-employment requirements, including background screenings, motor vehicle record reviews, and other compliance-related processes.
• Represent the organization at hiring events, workforce development programs, career fairs, and community outreach initiatives.
• Monitor recruiting activity and maintain accurate applicant tracking and hiring data.
• Work collaboratively with HR, operations, and safety teams to ensure a positive candidate experience and smooth transition into employment.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 2 years of recruiting experience, preferably supporting transportation, industrial, construction, manufacturing, or field service environments.
• Experience recruiting high-volume hourly employees, drivers, or skilled trades professionals.
• Strong understanding of modern sourcing techniques and applicant tracking systems.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport across all levels of an organization.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple open positions simultaneously.
