As a Cafe Bartender, your primary responsibilities will be to:
- Makes cookies, beverages and other food menu items.
- Knowledge of the various alcoholic beverages served, their tastes and how to describe them professionally and serve them in proper glassware.
- Bar maintenance & showroom help
- Customer service and engagement
Additional duties and responsibilities as a KC Cafe Bartender:
- Adheres to assigned all Standard Work and Role and Responsibilities for your role.
- Business office and showroom administration
- Competencies and Job Specific Skills:
- Customer service and communication skills
- Ability to handle cash and balance drawer at the end of each shift
- Quick learner for a fast paced environment
- Sales skills and ability to upsell when necessary
Education & Work Experience:
- One (1) to Three (3) years of food service experience preferred
- Bartender experience preferred
- Must be 21 years of age or older
Work Environment & Schedule:
- 5 days of the week including nights, weekends and holidays
- Mandatory Event Weekends
- 30-42.5 hours per week
Physical Requirements:
- Lifting 25 lbs, bending and prolonged standing
- Use of restaurant personal safety equipment
Technology Requirements:
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs (i.e. Excel, Word, and Outlook, etc.)
- Google Suite (i.e. Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.)
- Preferred knowledge of Square point of sale system
- Certifications / Licenses: Preferred Serve Safe Alcohol Certificate
