Large-Format Inkjet Applications Technologist

Your impact
  • Train operators on-site across the U.S. and Canada—hands-on, practical, and tailored.
  • Partner with Sales to provide technical pre-sales support that advances opportunities.
  • Become a subject-matter expert on swissQprint hardware and software.
  • Troubleshoot via phone, email, and remote tools with calm, clear guidance.
  • Execute media testing and sample print production for customer approval.
  • Deliver compelling equipment demonstrations.
  • Maintain demo gear and assist with trade show readiness and booth support.
  • Complete essential administrative tasks, documentation, and reporting.
  • Keep workspaces—ours and customers’—organized and clean.
  • Pursue ongoing learning to sustain and expand your qualifications.

Work setup
  • Status: Full-time
  • Location: West Dundee, IL (Chicago region)
  • Travel: ~10%–30% regularly (U.S. and Canada). You arrange your own travel and may keep earned points.

Preferred background
  • Prepress skills and software experience (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, or equivalent)
  • Working knowledge of RIP software and color workflows
  • Production experience in print
  • Clear written and verbal communication; customer-facing comfort
  • Reliable teammate
  • Located near West Dundee, IL, or able to relocate
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to Canada
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams
