We are seeking a Georgia Lottery Pre-K Lead Teacher who is passionate about preparing young learners for kindergarten through hands-on learning, creativity, and positive classroom leadership. What You'll Do

  • Lead a Georgia Lottery Pre-K classroom following Bright from the Start and GELDS standards
  • Develop and implement engaging daily lesson plans
  • Foster a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment
  • Conduct developmental assessments and maintain accurate documentation
  • Promote children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development
  • Maintain classroom organization and cleanliness
  • Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and training
  • Collaborate with administrators and fellow teachers
  • Ensure compliance with all licensing and Georgia Pre-K regulations


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a closely related field (required)
  • Eligible to serve as a Georgia Lottery Pre-K Lead Teacher
  • Knowledge of Georgia Early Learning and Development Standards (GELDS)
  • Experience managing an early childhood classroom
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with families and staff
  • Ability to pass all required background screenings
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain


Nice To Haves

  • Georgia Teaching Certificate
  • Georgia Pre-K classroom experience
  • Experience with Creative Curriculum or similar curriculum
  • Familiarity with Bright from the Start regulations
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
  • Experience using child assessment platforms
