Job Summary:
Grand Villa Assisted Living, a premier assisted living community in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Assisted Living Dietary Aide to join our culinary team. As an Assisted Living Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of life for our residents by providing exceptional dietary assistance and support.
Responsibilities:
Assist with food preparation, cooking, and presentation in accordance with established recipes and dietary guidelines
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
Provide dietary support to residents with special needs, such as modified diets or food allergies
Assist with meal service, including feeding or providing hydration for residents
Maintain accurate records of foodservice activities, including meal service and inventory management
Collaborate with the dietary team to ensure efficient and effective foodservice operations
Develop and maintain relationships with residents, family members, and healthcare professionals to ensure exceptional care and service
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Ability to lift, bend, and move heavy objects, as well as stand for extended periods
Basic knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and presentation
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
