Licensed Nursing Home Administrator

Job Summary

Avir at Park is seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Nursing Home Administrator to join our team at our Wichita Falls, TX location. As a vital member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of care and comfort for our residents, while also maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of the nursing home, including staffing, budgeting, and quality of care initiatives

  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care to residents

  • Foster a positive and respectful work environment that promotes employee engagement and retention

  • Build and maintain relationships with residents, families, and the community to ensure excellent customer service

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and quality

  • Manage and lead a team of licensed and non-licensed staff to achieve desired outcomes

  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to ensure fiscal responsibility

Requirements:

  • Current licensure as a Nursing Home Administrator in the State of Texas

  • Minimum 0 years of experience in long-term care or a related field

  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with residents, families, and staff

  • Experience with regulatory compliance and quality improvement initiatives

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions

  • Must be able to lift, push, and pull a minimum of 25 pounds
