Our Installation Team specializes in bringing outdoor spaces to life through professional landscape installations, ranging from plantings and softscape design to select hardscape features such as patios, retaining walls, and the creation of outdoor rooms.

We’re seeking an experienced, hands-on Installation Crew Leader to oversee day-to-day field operations, manage a small crew, and ensure every project is completed safely, efficiently, and to LandServ’s high standards of quality and professionalism.

Position Overview

The Installation Crew Member plays a key role in completing high-quality hardscape and softscape installations for residential and commercial clients. This includes assisting with patios, walkways, retaining walls, and related landscape construction projects. The position requires teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to perform physically demanding work in various weather conditions.

This is a seasonal role, with potential for reduced hours or layoff during the winter months depending on project schedules and weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with the Installation Crew Leader to complete projects including, but not limited to:
  
  
  • Paver patios and walkways
    
    
  • Retaining walls, steps, and edging
    
    
  • Base preparation, compaction, and grading
    
    
  • Landscape enhancements such as lighting, planting, mulching
    

• Assist in loading/unloading tools, materials, and equipment daily.
  
  
• Safely operate a variety of landscape and hardscape equipment including skid steers, excavators, compactors, trucks & trailers, and other power tools (as trained).
  
  
• Maintain a clean and organized jobsite and company vehicle.
  
  
• Follow installation plans and direction from Crew Leaders and Management.
  
  
• Perform general labor duties, including lifting materials up to and over 50 lbs repeatedly and work outdoors in variable weather.
  
  
• Conduct basic equipment maintenance such as greasing, fueling, and cleaning.
  
  
• Represent LandServ, Inc. with professionalism and a commitment to teamwork, quality, and continuous improvement. Interact professionally with clients, the public, and team members.
  
  
• Maintain a safety-first mindset at all times.
  
  
• Perform snow removal and related winter work duties as required during the winter season.

Requirements

• Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions.
  
  
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and perform strenuous labor for extended periods.
  
  
• Reliable transportation to and from the LandServ shop or jobsite.
  
  
• Valid driver’s license required; ability to drive company vehicles with trailers preferred.
  
  
• Prior experience in landscape or construction preferred, but not required.
  
  
• Team-oriented attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
  
  

Work Schedule

• Typical schedule: Monday–Friday, 7am.– 4pm/5pm, with overtime as needed.
  
  
• Peak season (March through December): ~40 – 50 hours/week.
  
  
• Winter season will involve snow operations or reduced hours.
  
  

• Weekend work is rare but may be requested for weather delays or deadlines.

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly Rate: [$18 – $21.50 per hour], based on experience and performance.
