Construction Laborer

Southern Ohio Renovations L.L.C is seeking a Construction Laborer to join our onsite team in for projects in the Huntington Tri-State area.

Position Summary

The Construction Laborer provides hands-on support across job sites to help ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to standard. This role assists skilled trades and project teams with preparation, material handling, site maintenance, and general labor tasks.

This role supports maintaining a clean, organized work environment by following safety procedures and contributing to a positive, reliable job site culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with daily construction site tasks including loading/unloading materials and preparing work areas

• Support tradespeople by providing labor assistance, staging materials, and performing basic installation or setup tasks as directed

• Maintain job site cleanliness and organization, including debris removal and proper material storage

• Follow all safety guidelines and use required protective equipment to reduce risk on site

• Support project timelines by completing assigned tasks efficiently and communicating progress or needs to the team

Required Qualifications

• Ability to perform physical work in a construction environment, including lifting and working outdoors as needed

• Willingness to learn and follow established safety procedures and site rules

• Reliability and punctuality, with a strong commitment to completing assigned work

• Ability to take direction and work collaboratively with a team

• Basic understanding of construction site expectations, including cleanliness and safe material handling

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in construction, renovation, or related labor roles

• Familiarity with common job site tools and basic construction practices

• Experience working on fast-paced job sites with changing priorities

• Comfort assisting with a variety of tasks while maintaining quality and attention to detail

Compensation

Hourly rate: $20.00 - $40.00
