A civil engineering firm serving public sector clients in the Phoenix / Mesa, AZ area is seeking a Municipal Project Manager to lead municipal infrastructure projects, including roadway, utility, and public facility work, from planning through construction.

Responsibilities

  • Manage municipal infrastructure projects, including roadway, water/wastewater, and public facility improvements
  • Serve as the primary point of contact with municipal clients, agencies, and stakeholders
  • Coordinate design teams, subconsultants, and construction contractors to keep projects on schedule and budget
  • Oversee permitting, entitlement, and regulatory compliance processes with local municipalities
  • Manage project scope, budget, and contract deliverables
  • Present project updates to municipal boards, councils, or public stakeholders as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; PE license required or strongly preferred
  • 5+ years of civil engineering project management experience, with municipal/public sector project experience
  • Strong understanding of municipal permitting, entitlement, and public bidding processes
  • Excellent communication and client relationship skills, particularly with public sector stakeholders
  • Experience with Arizona municipal jurisdictions a plus
