The Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner provides comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and ongoing treatment for children, adolescents, and adults. Responsibilities include developing individualized treatment plans, monitoring treatment effectiveness and potential side effects, ordering and reviewing appropriate laboratory testing, and educating clients about their care. The PMHNP collaborates closely with therapists, psychologists, primary-care providers, and other professionals to support coordinated, whole-person care.
