Key ResponsibilitiesThis person is responsible for leading and developing associates with a focus on motivating, mentoring, and coaching. (S)he is accountable for engaging their team to maintain the highest levels of safety, quality, attendance, and performance. The person in this role will need to be able to show strong leadership, the ability to address budgetary objectives and the desire to equip their team with the tools needed for success. The Regional Manager will ensure that daily departmental goals are met to achieve established objectives in Safety, Service, Quality, and Cost.Role You Will PlayStrategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services for the assigned Region.Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle.Help ensure all hubs stay always recruited.Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery of each hub.Monitor routes with the hubs and ensure they are working with dispatch to optimize all routes and ensure we fix any issues found.Resolve any arising problems or complaints.Supervise, coach and train hub managers and warehouse workforce.Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets.Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements.Comply with laws, regulations and ISO requirements.Travel to locations to cover while managers are on vacation if there is not someone capable at the hub.Travel to underperforming hubs to help get them back on track.Background ProfileBachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain Management or related field preferred. Requirements3-5 years of relevant distribution management/leadership experienceMinimum of 5 years of Final Mile/Last Mile experienceExperience managing, recruiting, and working with independent contractorsStrong ability to communicate effectively (written & verbal), with excellent interpersonal and customer relations skillsHighly organized and process-orientatedExperience working with furniture preferredAbility to multi-task effectivelyAbility to lead large groups of individuals in a high-pressure, fast-paced environmentHighly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)Warehouse Management System (WMS) experienceBasic quantitative/financial analysis skillsExemplifies strong ownership over projects from start to finish Cross-functional collaborationFlexibility in hours with weekend availability (Saturdays) depending on warehouse package volume and business need
