Vascular Centers of America is a rapidly growing outpatient vascular practice specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of peripheral arterial disease, venous disease, and other vascular conditions through advanced minimally invasive procedures and state-of-the-art vascular imaging.
Position Summary:
As we continue to expand throughout New York, we are seeking an experienced Lead Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) Manager to lead and develop our vascular ultrasound team.
We are seeking a leader who is passionate about building exceptional vascular technologists along with performing ultrasound examinations. The ideal candidate enjoys mentoring others, improving quality, and raising the standard of vascular imaging across our organization.
This individual will serve as the NY clinical ultrasound expert, ensuring every vascular study meets the highest standards of diagnostic accuracy, image quality, and consistency while mentoring and developing technologists to reach their full potential.
The ideal candidate has previous leadership experience within an outpatient vascular practice and possesses extensive expertise in vascular ultrasound, particularly lower extremity venous and arterial imaging.
Responsibilities:
· Lead, mentor, and develop a team of exceptional Registered Vascular Technologists.
· Serve as the clinical leader and ultrasound expert for our NY clinics.
· Follow and reinforce all company diagnostic testing policies, protocols, and standardized scanning procedures.
· Teach advanced vascular scanning techniques.
· Improve image optimization and diagnostic confidence.
· Perform venous and arterial ultrasound examinations as needed.
· Review completed arterial and venous ultrasound studies for diagnostic quality and accuracy.
· Collaborate closely with providers regarding study quality and interpretation.
· Develop and oversee the vascular ultrasound Quality Assurance (QA) program.
· Advanced Scanning knowledge of Lower Extremity Venous Insufficiency Ultrasound, Lower Extremity Arterial Duplex Ultrasound, and ABI/TBI Testing
· Comprehensive knowledge of Vascular Anatomy
Qualifications:
· Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) credential through ARDMS.
· 5+ years of experience in lower extremity arterial and venous ultrasound.
· Previous leadership, supervisory, or management experience.
· Experience within a high-volume outpatient vascular practice preferred.
· Expert knowledge of vascular anatomy, pathology, and ultrasound principles.
· Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
· Extensive experience performing and interpreting vascular ultrasound studies.
· Experience reviewing ultrasound studies for diagnostic quality and accuracy.
· Willingness to travel between New York locations required (Manhattan 10026 and Brooklyn 11207)
