Contract Attorney

We are seeking a skilled attorney in Vermont to join our legal team on a contract basis. As an attorney, you will provide legal services to our clients. Responsibilities:

Conduct legal research to support litigation

Provide legal advice to clients with consumer debt

Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients and opposing counsel

Stay up-to-date with changes in relevant laws and regulations

Collaborate and support staff to achieve case goals

Experience:

Must have a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Must be licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction

Proven track record of successfully negotiating contracts and agreements

Strong analytical skills

Experience with law office software and tools

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Ability to work independently

Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work

Job Type: 1099 Contract

Pay: Competitive Hourly Rate

Expected hours: 2-5 per week

License/Certification: Vermont Bar (Required)
