Warehouse Manager

Chip 1 Exchange USA Inc
Arlington, TX, US Full Time

Job Description

Job Description
Description:

Warehouse General Manager / Operations Manager

Arlington, TX | Full-Time | On-Site| Exempt| Competitive + Bonus Potential

Chip 1 Exchange USA is a global independent distributor of electronic components, semiconductors, and ICs. Our Arlington, TX Distribution Center is a high-volume fulfillment hub — and we're looking for a hands-on operations leader who understands that in the independent distribution vertical, quality control isn't a department. It's a discipline.

* THE DIFFERENTIATOR WE'RE HIRING FOR *

Every independent distributor has its own QC approach — but the best are defined by their commitment to it. The candidate we hire must have real, hands-on experience with component quality control and risk mitigation in the independent electronics distribution space. This is the single most weighted factor in our selection process.

WHAT YOU'LL OWN

Quality Control & Risk Mitigation — Priority #1

• Own the facility's end-to-end QC program: inbound inspection, date code verification, authenticity checks, and counterfeit risk mitigation

• Working knowledge of industry standards (AS9120, IDEA-STD-1010, SAE AS6081) and third-party testing relationships (X-ray, electrical, decapsulation)

• Maintain QC documentation: inspection records, NCMRs, supplier scorecards, and corrective action logs

• Train all warehouse staff on QC awareness and instill quality as a team-wide ownership mindset

Warehouse Operations & Inventory

• Oversee receiving, putaway, picking, packing, kitting, shipping, and returns — start to finish

• Lead inventory accuracy programs: cycle counts, lot tracking, date code control, and WMS best practices

• Maintain 5S standards, space utilization, and equipment maintenance across the facility

People, Safety & Performance

• Lead, develop, and retain a warehouse team of supervisors, leads, and associates

• Champion a zero-incident safety culture; OSHA compliance, audits, and incident management

• Track and report KPIs: throughput, order accuracy, on-time shipment, QC pass rates, and labor productivity

• Manage carrier relationships (parcel, LTL, FTL, air) and cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Procurement, and HQ

Requirements:

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 5+ years of warehouse / DC operations experience; 3+ years in a manager or GM role

• Hands-on QC experience in independent electronics or component distribution — this is the role's defining requirement

• Proven ability to lead teams of 10+ across multiple warehouse functions

• Familiarity with counterfeit risk indicators, supplier qualification, and component inspection best practices

• Strong communicator who can build a quality-first culture from the floor up

Education: Bachelor's degree preferred; demonstrated experience and QC expertise will be considered in lieu of formal education. Certifications (OSHA, Lean, APICS) are a plus, not a requirement.
