Badger State Staffing is seeking a Core Cutter for a full-time position based in Neenah. If you have a keen eye for detail and are committed to safety and efficiency, we encourage you to apply!
Primary Duties:
- Adhere to all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) to create a safe working environment
- Operate and set up core cutting equipment to cut paper cores to precise lengths, ensuring they quality standards
- Proactively supply splitting machines with cores to minimize downtime and keep production running smoothly
- Forecast and plan core needs for extended periods (12-24 hours) to support efficient production scheduling
- Assist with other duties as needed to support the production team and meet department goals
Schedule: Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Occasional overtime may be required based on production.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Willingness to consistently wear and use all required PPE on the floor
- Ability to work in a demanding manufacturing environment, including working in warm conditions (up to 80 degrees Fahrenheit) during the summer months
- Proficiency in using and accurately reading a tape measure to 1/16 of an inch
- A strong record of excellent attendance is a must, as this role is vital to the production process
