Behavioral & Educational Solutions (BES) is a clinician-led Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) organization dedicated to delivering high-quality, individualized services for children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). As our organization continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced and dynamic Clinical Director (BCBA) to lead clinical operations, support staff development, and drive exceptional client outcomes across our clinic-based and home-based ABA programs.

Position Summary

The Clinical Director serves as the senior clinical leader responsible for overseeing ABA service delivery, ensuring adherence to clinical best practices, and supporting organizational growth initiatives. This role partners closely with executive leadership to establish high-performing teams, maintain regulatory compliance, and foster a culture of clinical excellence.

The ideal candidate is a strategic and hands-on leader with strong operational, supervisory, and clinical experience within insurance-funded ABA services.

Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Leadership & Program Management
  • Provide leadership and oversight for ABA services across clinic-based and home-based programs

  • Oversee client intake, assessments, treatment planning, service recommendations, and clinical case management

  • Supervise, mentor, and evaluate BCBAs, RBTs, and Student Analysts

  • Provide clinical consultation and support for complex cases

  • Partner with executive leadership to develop and execute strategic growth initiatives

  • Support recruitment, onboarding, retention, and succession planning for clinical staff

  • Drive a culture focused on client outcomes, ethical practice, and continuous improvement

Quality Assurance & Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with BACB standards, Maryland licensing requirements, and payer regulations

  • Monitor clinical outcomes and implement quality improvement initiatives

  • Conduct chart reviews, audits, and documentation quality assessments

  • Ensure treatment integrity and service consistency across all locations and service environments

  • Develop and maintain clinical policies, procedures, and best-practice standards

  • Support accreditation, audit readiness, and regulatory compliance efforts

Training, Mentorship & Professional Development
  • Mentor newly certified BCBAs and developing clinical leaders

  • Provide supervision to BCBA candidates pursuing certification requirements

  • Develop and facilitate onboarding, training, and ongoing professional development programs

  • Foster a collaborative culture of accountability, mentorship, and growth

  • Identify high-potential staff and create advancement pathways

  • Promote evidence-based decision-making and clinical excellence throughout the organization

Clinical Oversight
  • Review assessments, treatment plans, behavior intervention plans (BIPs), and progress reports

  • Monitor data collection systems and treatment effectiveness

  • Conduct fidelity checks and provide performance feedback to clinical teams

  • Ensure interventions remain individualized, socially significant, and evidence-based

  • Support parent and caregiver engagement initiatives to improve treatment outcomes

QualificationsRequired
  • Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification in good standing

  • Maryland Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) or eligibility to obtain Maryland licensure

  • Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field

  • Minimum of five (5) years of ABA experience, including leadership and supervisory responsibilities

  • Strong knowledge of insurance-funded ABA services, authorization processes, and payer requirements

  • Experience managing clinical teams and multi-site service delivery

  • Demonstrated success in clinical program development and quality improvement

  • Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills

  • Ability to balance strategic initiatives with day-to-day clinical operations

Preferred
  • Experience leading clinic-based and home-based ABA programs

  • Multi-state or multi-site clinical management experience

  • Experience with staff recruitment, retention, and workforce development

  • Strong understanding of operational metrics, productivity standards, and business growth strategies

  • Interest in advancing into executive-level leadership roles
