Your Mission

Help us win the right work by crafting accurate, timely quotes for custom metal-fabricated dollies and racks at our Whitewater, WI 53190 facility. You’ll turn complex specs into clear cost models that guide strategy and strengthen customer trust.

What You’ll Own
  • Scoping: Dissect project specifications, drawings, and requirements to define materials, processes, labor, tooling, and equipment.
  • Collaboration: Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to confirm assumptions and close information gaps.
  • Quoting: Prepare and submit detailed, competitive client quotations on or before deadlines.
  • Sourcing: Evaluate subcontractor proposals and negotiate pricing when appropriate.
  • Market Insight: Research current costs and track pricing shifts to ensure estimate accuracy.
  • Knowledge Base: Maintain a comprehensive historical cost database per established procedure for future analysis.
  • Execution Support: Provide estimating insight during design and manufacturing phases to keep projects aligned with budgets.
  • Strategy: Partner with sales to craft winning approaches and proposals.
  • Governance: Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
  • Other: Perform all other duties as assigned.
What It Takes
  • Demonstrated estimating experience in a metal fabrication environment.
  • Solid knowledge of fabrication processes, materials, and cost structures.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Strong math skills and analytical thinking.
  • Fluency in reading blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
  • Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Independence and urgency to meet tight deadlines.
  • Organized, disciplined time management.
