Hacienda is seeking a Senior Accountant to assist the company in maintaining and enhancing the company’s financial reporting. This position requires a highly skilled and proactive professional who can work independently toward company goals. Candidates should have vast experience in financial accounting and reporting as well as the ability to manage a team.
A day in the life…
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting required, CPA license or eligibility to sit for CPA exam highly preferred
· 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, Some experience in public accounting setting highly preferred.
· Strong knowledge of GAAP
· Experience across a broad range of accounting functions such as cash management, receivables, payables, purchasing, and expense reporting.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; capable of working effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Hacienda is seeking a Senior Accountant to assist the company in maintaining and enhancing the company’s financial reporting. A day in the life…
- Performing and/or overseeing month-end close procedures
- Produce complete monthly financial statements accurately and on time
- Maintain compliance under GAAP
- Perform reconciliations of financial accounts
- Maintain fixed assets depreciation
- Plan and oversee inventory counts and analyze results
- Assist in budgeting processes
- Prepare special reports as necessary for reporting to Executives and Board of Directors
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- Analyze company expenditures and cash flow
- Supervise junior accountants and other finance staff, providing guidance and support in their daily tasks
- Lead or participate in ad hoc financial projects such as system implementation or process improvements.
- Provide financial analysis for strategic initiatives, such as expansion into new markets or product lines
