This is a hands-on, outdoor position where no two days are exactly alike.If you enjoy active work environments, operating equipment, learning new skills, and working with a team that supports one another, this could be a great fit for you.This is not an office-based role - we're looking for individuals who enjoy working outdoors and contributing directly to plant operations and customer success.What You'll DoAssist with laboratory product testingInput quality specifications and batch data into reportsSample and monitor product qualityLoad and unload trucks and bargesPerform minor maintenance on pumps, mixers, racks, and other plant equipmentParticipate in daily production, quality, and Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) meetingsUtilize safety tools and follow company safety proceduresMaintain clean and organized work areasComplete required training and certificationsWear required PPE and follow all safety protocolsCommunicate effectively with team members, management, truck drivers, and customersWhat We're Looking ForHigh school diploma or equivalentStrong work ethic and positive attitudeAbility to work independently and as part of a teamBasic math and problem-solving skillsAbility to read and follow written instructionsWillingness to learn computer systems and new skillsProficiency in Excel preferred, but not requiredAbility to lift up to 50 pounds with assistanceAbility to climb tanks and structures, bend, and work in physically active environmentsValid driver's licenseAbility to work scheduled hours, including Monday through Sunday as neededComfortable working outdoors in all weather conditionsBuild Your Career With UsAt Ergon Asphalt Partners, we value employees who are dependable, eager to learn, and committed to making the workplace better every day.
