The Reconstruction Project Manager we need is a proactive, results driven, and detailed problem solver who can help property owners put their lives together after a traumatic event such as a fire or flood. If you take pride in your ability to project manage and consider yourself an expert in construction renovation – you've come to the right place. Responsibilities:
- Take charge and manage the life cycle of a variety of reconstruction projects from planning to execution to close
- Autonomously produce while having the support of estimating and planning team
- Establish systems that result in the overall success of projects (i.e., quality workmanship, client relationships, safety, cleanliness, and tradespeople conduct)
- Manage estimators
- Train and coach team members that produce reconstruction projects
- Communicate with customers frequently on the status of the job
- Communicate and negotiate with insurance carriers and property owners
- Resolve conflicts with carriers, property owners, vendors, and tradesmen
- Manage and exceed budget expectations
- 3+ years of Construction Project Management experience required
- 5+ years in hands-on construction or trades work preferred
- Strong planning/scheduling and communication skills
- Self-motivated and goal oriented
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor
