As an Activity Assistant at Marie's Manor, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by creating meaningful and engaging experiences that promote socialization, recreation, and overall well-being. Responsibilities:
Plan and implement activities that cater to the diverse interests and needs of our residents, including arts and crafts, games, outings, and social events
Build relationships with residents to understand their preferences and tailor activities to meet their unique needs and abilities
Collaborate with the activities director to develop and implement activity programs that promote socialization, recreation, and relaxation
Administer activities and programs in accordance with state and federal regulations, as well as Marie's Manor policies and procedures
Maintain accurate records of activities, attendance, and resident participation
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous experience in activity direction or a related field is preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
