Primary BCBA (LBA) – Fully Remote | Maryland

Actify ABA is seeking an experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) / Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) to join our clinical team in a fully remote, primary BCBA role serving clients in Maryland.

This position is designed for clinicians who want to lead cases and drive clinical outcomes while working remotely. As the Primary BCBA, you will take ownership of the clinical direction of your assigned cases, including treatment planning, ongoing analysis, caregiver support, RBT supervision, and required clinical documentation.

To support effective remote case management, in-person co-consult BCBAs provide supplemental on-site supervision and clinical support, giving the Primary BCBA an in-person clinical partner while maintaining overall responsibility and direction of the case.

Position Overview

The Primary BCBA serves as the clinical lead for assigned cases and is responsible for:

  • Maintaining primary clinical responsibility for assigned clients

  • Developing, updating, and overseeing individualized treatment plans

  • Conducting remote supervision and treatment protocol modification

  • Reviewing client data and making clinically appropriate treatment decisions

  • Completing required assessments, reports, and clinical documentation

  • Providing caregiver training and support

  • Supervising and supporting RBTs assigned to each case

  • Coordinating with the in-person co-consult BCBA to maintain treatment integrity and quality of care

  • Ensuring each case meets clinical, ethical, payer, and regulatory requirements

  • Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Primary BCBA and clinical lead for assigned clients

  • Develop and maintain individualized, evidence-based treatment plans

  • Conduct ongoing assessments and evaluate client progress

  • Analyze clinical data and modify programming based on client needs

  • Provide remote supervision and clinical direction to RBTs

  • Complete treatment plans, reassessments, progress reports, and other required clinical documentation

  • Provide caregiver training and guidance

  • Establish and monitor goals for clients and treatment teams

  • Coordinate closely with in-person co-consult BCBAs and incorporate relevant observations and feedback into clinical decision-making

  • Provide clear direction and support to RBTs implementing treatment plans

  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation

  • Ensure services are delivered in accordance with BACB ethics, Maryland requirements, payer guidelines, and Actify ABA clinical standards

Compensation & Schedule
Position: Primary BCBA

Location: Fully Remote – Serving Maryland Clients in Gwynn Oak, MD 21207 and surrounding areas

Schedule: Afternoon and Evenings - Eastern Standard Time

Caseload: Based on availability and agreed-upon capacity

Compensation: $95-$115/hour

Qualifications

  • Active BCBA certification required

  • Active Maryland LBA required

  • Experience overseeing ABA cases and supervising RBTs

  • Experience developing and modifying treatment plans

  • Strong clinical judgment and data-based decision-making skills

  • Strong written documentation and organizational skills

  • Ability to effectively supervise and lead clinical teams remotely

  • Ability to communicate effectively with families, RBTs, co-consult BCBAs, and clinical leadership

  • Experience with home-based ABA services preferred
