Because of this growth, we’re looking to add a new Project Engineer for our Sandy office. You would support project management, bid, and prepare projects for construction.

What you’ll do:


Project Coordination and Administration:

  • Maintain up-to-date project records and documentation
  • Assist Project Manager in various project phases
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and ensure timely delivery of project documents
  • Attend meetings and represent the company as needed
  • Monitor and enforce safety protocols
  • Prepare and submit project reports, change orders, RFIs, and other required documentation
  • Support business development efforts by marketing the company to clients

Detail management:

  • Monitor and manage the products in
    ProCore and/or Microsoft Project
  • Review construction documents, specifications, and stay up to date on industry standards
  • Ability to analyze project data and generate reports


What you need to succeed:


Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or working towards a degree in construction management, engineering or business
  • Or 3-5 years of commercial construction experience

Technical Skills:

  • Knowledge of construction practices, procedures, and techniques
  • Ability to read and understand complex documents, work orders, safety rules, and maintenance instructions
  • Proficiency in construction scheduling and cost control
  • Familiarity with various equipment and tools
  • LEED knowledge
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, BlueBeam, and CAD software

Interpersonal Skills:

  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented approach
