Job Summary:
Missoula Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Housekeeper / Laundry Aide to join our exciting and fast paced team! Our housekeepers provide daily housekeeping services in addition to the daily preparation and quality control of linen distributed to maintain the Center's safety, sanitation, and attractive condition.
Essential Functions:
- Follows and completes cleaning schedules.
- Observes proper infection control standards.
- Performs janitorial tasks to maintain cleanliness and orderliness.
- Maintains equipment used in performing duties.
- Acts as a Mandatory Reporter.
- Follows written policies and procedures of the Laundry Department.
- Linen sorting, washing, folding.
- Observes infection control standards in the handling of linens and clothing.
- Sorts and washes soiled linens.
- Hangs or lays out garments.
- Presses or hand irons articles as required.
- Inspects linen for wear and tear.
- Operates washers and dryers.
- Cleans dryer lint traps.

- Willingness and ability to learn quickly
