Payrate - $14.25/hr
Schedule - 2.30pm-11pm (Monday- Friday)
Location- Henryville, Indiana
Job Summary:
The School Janitor is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for students, teachers, staff, and visitors by cleaning school facilities and performing basic maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize classrooms, hallways, restrooms, offices, and common areas.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors.
- Empty trash and recycling bins.
- Refill restroom supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
- Perform minor maintenance tasks and report repair needs.
- Operate cleaning equipment safely and follow safety procedures.
- Respond promptly to spills and cleaning requests.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous janitorial experience is an asset but not required.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment and use cleaning products safely.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb for extended periods.
