HireCare Services is actively hiring Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and Behavior Technicians (BTs) to provide in-home ABA therapy services for children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities in Alexandria, VA and surrounding communities.

This is a flexible opportunity with both part-time and full-time availability, ideal for individuals seeking hands-on clinical experience, professional growth, and meaningful work in a supportive environment.

Position Summary:

As a Behavior Technician (BT) / Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you will provide direct, 1:1 ABA therapy in home settings under the supervision of a BCBA. You will support children in building communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skills using structured teaching strategies and positive reinforcement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement individualized ABA therapy programs as directed by a BCBA

  • Deliver 1:1 therapy sessions in home and community environments

  • Collect accurate behavioral data during each session

  • Communicate progress and observations to clinical supervisors

  • Complete detailed and timely session documentation

  • Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical ABA practices

  • Build positive, supportive relationships with clients and families

What We’re Looking For:
  • Active RBT certification OR willingness to complete certification (training provided)

  • Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities preferred

  • Strong communication, patience, and interpersonal skills

  • Dependable, organized, and able to work independently

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

Schedule:
  • Flexible part-time and full-time positions available

  • Afternoon and after-school availability (Monday–Friday)

  • Occasional weekend hours depending on client needs

  • 15–25+ hours per week based on availability and caseload

Compensation:
  • $23–$29 per hour
