Automotive Mechanic

C&L Truck Repair is looking for an experienced Diesel Mechanic / Truck Technician to join our team. We are a busy, growing truck repair operation with steady work, a strong company reputation, and a team-focused environment.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in doing quality work, can diagnose and repair truck issues efficiently, and wants to be part of a company that values reliability, skill, and professionalism.

$30 - $35 hourly

• Diagnosing and repairing diesel trucks and commercial vehicles
• Performing preventative maintenance, inspections, and general repairs
• Troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, brake, suspension, and drivability issues
• Working on medium-duty and heavy-duty trucks
• Completing repairs accurately and safely
• Communicating clearly with management regarding repair needs, parts, and timelines
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area

• High school diploma or GED equivalent necessary
• Preferred education is an associate’s degree from a technical school or relevant automotive program and/or ASE certification
• Must be an effective communicator who maintains a solid work ethic
• A valid driver’s license is necessary
• Good manual dexterity and effective use of hand tools and other equipment needed for vehicle repairs

• 3–7 years of experience working on diesel trucks (towing industry experience is a plus)
• Solid knowledge of diesel engines, brakes, suspension, electrical systems, etc.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Must have a valid driver’s license (CDL preferred, but not required)
• Must provide your own tools
