Summary:
  • At Hawaii Senior Care, we provide quality home health care services to patients throughout Oahu.

  • The Office Manager shall oversee day-to-day operations, as well as the planning, coordination and management of all office activities, in accordance with State and Federal laws and regulations and company policies and procedures.
  • A successful Office Manager will be a trusted leader and a highly motivated individual who will lead our rapidly growing company.

Essential Functions:
Staff Management:
  • Demonstrates strong written/verbal communication skills to foster a safe and efficient working environment. The office manager will also be a primary point of contact for clients.
  • Develops initiatives to improve operational efficiencies and ensure employee compliance with company policy.
  • Develops daily/weekly/monthly reports to track company objectives.
  • Develops employee improvement plans to foster employee growth.
  • Develops initial and continuing employee training for non-clinical office staff.
  • Ensures office safety to protect client and caregiver confidentiality and the integrity of the company.
  • Demonstrates the ability to make informed decisions to quickly resolve problems.
  • Must be able to work independently.

Information Management:
  • Coordinates and manages client on-boarding and off-boarding.
  • Coordinates and manages caregiver on-boarding and off-boarding.
  • Oversees office staff to ensure completion and tracking of references, health screenings, criminal background checks, and drug screens for new hires and existing staff if applicable.
  • Ensures that all information is kept confidential in compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).

Customer Service:
  • Assures that all telephone traffic is managed in a professional, customer service-oriented manner, and is relayed to the appropriate people in a timely manner.
  • Ensures that all customer commitments are met on time.
  • Responsible for customer service training for clerical and administrative support staff.
  • Other tasks as assigned.

Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree desired.

Experience Requirements:
  • Two (2) years of office management experience required.

Skill Requirements:
  • Demonstrates organizational, written/composition skills, and verbal skills.
  • Demonstrates typing skills, filing skills, and word processing skills (Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.).
