What You’ll Do

As a Behavioral Health Technician, you will work 1:1 with children and adolescents (ages 2–21) to support skill development and emotional wellness. Under the supervision of licensed clinicians, you will:

  • Implement individualized treatment and behavior intervention plans
  • Teach communication, social, and daily living skills
  • Support emotional and behavioral regulation
  • Collect and record data with accuracy
  • Model strategies for families and caregivers
  • Participate in training, supervision, and team collaboration

Support center operations as needed (including bathroom assistance for young children)

Qualifications

Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel
  • Ability to obtain required clearances

Preferred (Not Required):

  • Associate’s degree OR 60+ college credits toward a Human Services–related Bachelor’s degree
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Services (experience not required)
  • Experience working with children
  • ABA experience (we will train!)

Physical Requirements

  • Stand, walk, and sit for extended periods of time.
  • Bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and crouch frequently.
  • Speak clearly and hear effectively in both quiet and noisy environments.
  • Lift, carry, push, or pull objects weighing up to 21 pounds.
  • Perform tasks requiring fine motor skills and manual dexterity.
