Receptionist, Part Time
Job Description
We are currently looking for a Receptionist Part Time:
Thursday 4pm-9pm
Friday 4pm-9pm
Sunday 8am-4pm
Responsibilities:
Operate multiline telephone and paging system.
Answer incoming calls, determine the nature of the call and route the call to the appropriate party.
Locate personnel by using overhead paging system.
Greets and directs all visitors to the facility, ensures that all visitors sign-in and refuse visitor’s entry to the facility if needed.
Maintain a current file/listing of residents by name and room number, emergency phone numbers of on-call personnel, department extensions, key personnel, etc.
Responds to inquiries regarding job openings and distributes job applications to perspective employees.
Provides callers with information such as company address, directions to the company location, company fax numbers, website and other related information
Receives, sorts and forward's incoming mail. Coordinates the pick-up and delivery of mail services.
Responsible for reporting all resident concerns and/or suspicious behavior to the appropriate department head/supervisor on duty.
Handles sensitive information regarding Residents and other facility matters with professionalism and confidentiality.
Works in an organized fashion and keeps lobby and workstation clean and free of hazards at all times.
Reports all hazardous conditions, damaged equipment and supply issues to the supervisor.
Communicates and interacts effectively and tactfully with residents, visitors, families, and employees.
Attend and participate in departmental meetings and in-services as needed.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Excellent communication skills
Solid computer skills
A very positive attitude with ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to read write and speak in English to the extent necessary for safe and efficient performance of the job.
Flexibility-This position is part of a health care facility that is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Working on holidays and during inclement weather will be required as needed.
