Rolling Meadows of Strum, a rapidly growing Memory Care and Assisted Living, in Strum WI, is seeking additions to our organization. We are dedicated to growing our team with the highest caliber, experienced professionals in our area.The Life Enrichment Assistant (Activity Aid) - LEA is responsible for providing daily activities for the residents of the CBRF community. Must work every other weekend and every other holiday. Priority will be given to those with experience working in long term care; particularly CBRF.The Life Enrichment Assistant reports directly to Administration. Responsible for effectively implementing and providing daily activities for residents. It is imperative that the activities reflect the mission of mind, body and spirit options. Help coordinate special events and programming within the community. Interact with internal and external persons to provide a high level of customer service and provide a friendly and responsive environment for all. Provide clerical and communication support (front line customer service, answering phones, welcoming families, visitors, vendors and gathering potential Resident/Family inquiry information). Job DutiesCarryout resident activity programs as outlined in activity calendarReport all resident activity participation and/or concerns to AdministrationCommunicate activity supply/equipment needs & inventories to AdministrationSnack/hydration pass to all residents twice dailyAssist in setting up holiday decorations/partiesMaintain the security of the community, front door, ensure greeting of guests/visitors and confirm all visitors in the building. Ensure all visitors sign into guest book at front desk in the event of an emergency. Professional communication with all visitors, residents, families and third-party providersProvide effective verbal and written communicationsMaintain professional conduct and high level of personal integrity in accordance with the Employee HandbookFollow all Tender Reflections policy and procedures to include house rules and Employee Code of Conduct; report any noncompliance of company policies AdministrationAssist with dining servicesAssist with special eventsCommunicate effectively and document in ECPAssist with answering phone callsGather Family / Resident Inquiry InformationReport any noncompliance of company policies Knowledgeable of computer hardware & software logicEnsure HIPAA compliancePerform additional job duties as assigned by AdministrationMust be available to work every other weekend and every other holiday. Priority will be given to those with experience working in long term care; particularly CBRF.
