This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) with a strong background in hospital-based Emergency Medicine who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative clinical environment.The selected provider will deliver high-quality emergency care while partnering with physicians, nursing staff, and multidisciplinary teams to evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients across a broad spectrum of acute medical conditions. - Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with urgent and emergent medical conditions.
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, physical examinations, and medical decision-making within established clinical protocols.
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests including laboratory studies, imaging, and other clinical assessments.
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans for emergency department patients.
- Perform procedures appropriate to credentialing and scope of practice.
- Collaborate closely with Emergency Medicine physicians, nursing staff, specialists, and ancillary healthcare professionals.
- Utilize Epic EMR to document patient encounters accurately and efficiently.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care.
- Respond efficiently to rapidly changing patient conditions while maintaining exceptional clinical judgment.
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
- Current unrestricted Georgia NP or PA license (or ability to obtain prior to start).
- Current DEA registration (or ability to obtain).
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
- Minimum of one year of recent hospital-based Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant experience.
- Experience working independently in a high-volume Emergency Department.
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic reasoning, and procedural skills.
- Experience utilizing Epic EMR or comparable electronic medical record systems.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and patient-centered care skills.
- U.S.-based applicants only.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Three or more years of Emergency Medicine NP or PA experience.
- Previous experience within Level I, II, or III Trauma Centers.
- Proficiency performing emergency procedures within credentialed scope of practice.
- Experience managing high-acuity and complex emergency cases.
- Strong interdisciplinary collaboration and leadership abilities.
- Excellent patient satisfaction and quality outcome metrics.
- Stable employment history demonstrating professionalism, reliability, and long-term career progression.
- Current Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant licensure.
- Hospital-based Emergency Medicine NP or PA experience.
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and procedural capabilities.
- Experience utilizing Epic EMR or similar electronic health record systems.
- Excellent collaboration within multidisciplinary emergency care teams.
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and patient-centered clinical judgment.
- Ability to work flexible schedules in a fast-paced Emergency Department.
- Meets all required qualifications while demonstrating several preferred qualifications.
- Extensive Emergency Department NP or PA experience.
- Strong procedural competency within Emergency Medicine.
- Previous Trauma Center experience.
- Outstanding patient satisfaction and quality metrics.
- Excellent collaboration with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams.
- Strong adaptability across varying patient acuity levels.
- Stable employment history demonstrating consistent clinical excellence and career growth.

- No hospital-based Emergency Medicine NP or PA experience.
- No active NP or PA license (or inability to obtain Georgia licensure).
- No current BLS, ACLS, or PALS certifications.
- Inability to independently manage Emergency Department patients.
