CDL Local Morning Driver (City of Industry)

California Transit Services is seeking a CDL Local Morning Driver to support reliable, on-time transportation operations in the City of Industry, CA.

Position Summary

The CDL Local Morning Driver safely operates commercial vehicles on local route assignments to help maintain service continuity and meet scheduled timelines. This role is essential to delivering dependable transportation while ensuring passengers and/or freight are handled with care.

You will follow established operating procedures, complete required logs and documentation accurately, and maintain a professional, safety-first approach throughout each shift.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate assigned routes and vehicles in compliance with applicable commercial driving regulations and company policies

• Adhere to scheduled arrival and departure times by monitoring route conditions and adjusting as needed

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and promptly report any issues clearly and in a timely manner

• Maintain accurate timekeeping, trip records, and all required shift documentation

• Provide courteous, professional service to passengers and/or stakeholders as required by the route

Required Qualifications

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) appropriate for the position, with a driving record that meets company requirements

• Ability to work full-time onsite during morning hours, including weekends as assigned

• Strong commitment to safety, including safe driving practices and situational awareness

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and maintain attention to detail in logs and documentation

• Ability to perform essential job duties safely, including entering/exiting the vehicle and completing inspections

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience driving commercial vehicles in a passenger or service-focused transportation environment

• Familiarity with commercial driving documentation and basic compliance expectations

• Demonstrated reliability in meeting schedules and supporting local route demands

Compensation

Hourly rate: $26.00 - $27.00
