Pay
$16.00–$18.00 per hour
Availability Required
Sunday: 12:30 PM – 3:30 PM
Monday: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM & 12:30 PM – 4:30 PM
Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM & 12:30 PM – 4:30 PM
Friday: 1:30 PM – 4:30 PM
Start Date: Immediate opening
More About the Role
You'll support several seniors throughout the Columbia area, building real relationships while helping them remain safe and independent at home.
Many of the clients you'll serve are living with Alzheimer's disease or other forms of dementia. They're looking for more than someone to complete tasks. They need a caregiver who is calm, patient, confident, and able to bring comfort and stability to each visit.
Some clients enjoy conversation, music, or getting out for a walk. Others simply appreciate a familiar face, a steady routine, and someone who treats them with dignity and respect.

Responsibilities
- Personal care and ADL assistance
- Safe transfers and mobility support
- Companionship and meaningful engagement
- Hearing aid assistance
- Meal preparation and following recipes
- Light housekeeping and laundry
- Encourage walking, exercise, and outdoor time
- Support meaningful activities such as music, conversation, and community outings
- Communicate changes or concerns to the office
Qualifications
- Professional caregiving experience required
- Strong Alzheimer's and dementia care experience required
- Experience with personal care, transfers, and walkers
- Comfortable supporting higher-acuity clients
- Ability to follow recipes and prepare meals
- Non-smoker
- Comfortable working around dogs
- Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and current auto insurance
- Clear criminal background and drug screen
