Favia Family Dental is looking for a motivated, compassionate, and patient-focused Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our practice full-time. If you are passionate about providing exceptional patient care, educating patients on oral health, and helping create a welcoming dental experience, we'd love to meet you!
Schedule
- Monday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM (1-hour lunch)
- Tuesday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM (1-hour lunch)
- Wednesday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM (1-hour lunch)
- Thursday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (1-hour lunch)
Responsibilities
As a Dental Hygienist at Favia Family Dental, you will:
- Perform dental cleanings, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planning, and fluoride treatments
- Take and review digital radiographs
- Conduct periodontal assessments and charting
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care
- Assist the dentist in diagnosis and treatment planning
- Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation
- Follow infection control protocols and OSHA standards
- Build strong patient relationships that promote long-term oral health
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a smooth and exceptional patient experience
Qualifications
- Active Illinois Dental Hygienist License
- Current CPR/BLS Certification
- Strong communication and patient education skills
- Experience with digital radiography and dental software preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Positive attitude and commitment to outstanding patient care
