Pay rate: $17.50/hr
Shift: 1st shift Monday - Friday, 5am to 1:30pm
Job Summary:
Background friendly. Case Picker - Cherry Picker / Unloading trucks as well. Must know a sit down forklift Some days will be doing case picking. have Cherry picker Experience/Case picking (Heavy lifters - Must be able to lift 50lbs +) That person's focus will be loading/unloading trailers and working with RCV to make sure paperwork is correct. There will be additional duties when all trucks have arrived or we don't have a lot scheduled for that day. That could include cleaning off pallets, cleaning, running pallets, picking orders (Must Have Cherry Picking Experience) Lakeside Book Company Material Handler Lakeside Book Company - Formally the LSC Communications Location. This job is for our Distribution Center.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Select books from shelf and place in boxes
- Work in a team environment and cross-train with others
Physical Requirements:
- Ability work with minimium supervision
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Ability to lift and carry 20 to 50 lbs.
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus
- Ability to stand for the entire duration of your shift
- Use a handheld scanner
Dress code: General Warehouse attire/ Closed Toe Tennis shoes
