Job Description

Kickstart Your Professional Career

Are you looking to move into a professional office environment but aren't sure where to start? The McBride Agency is looking for an energetic, dependable individual to be the "face and voice" of our Dixon office.

This is a true entry-level role. We don't expect you to know the insurance industry on day one—we are looking for the right attitude and a willingness to learn. If you are organized, friendly, and ready to grow, we will provide the training and the tools you need to succeed.

What a Typical Day Looks Like

You’ll be the heartbeat of the office, ensuring everything runs smoothly for our clients and our sales team:

Welcoming Neighbors: Greet clients as they walk in and handle incoming calls with a professional, helpful tone.

Mastering the Details: Process client payments, manage the daily mail, and assist with digital filing and document scanning.

Team Support: Help our agents stay organized by managing schedules and ensuring our client records are accurate and up-to-date.

Professional Growth: Learn the "ins and outs" of a professional service business in a supportive, low-pressure environment.

The Perks & Benefits

We believe in investing in our people from the ground up:

Professional Development: We pay for your ongoing education. If you decide to grow into a licensed role later, we cover all your licensing and exam fees.

Health & Security: Access to Retirement and Disability insurance to start your financial future on the right foot.

Work-Life Balance: Generous Paid Time Off (PTO) so you can enjoy life outside of work.

"Dress for Your Day": A modern approach to office attire—be professional, but be comfortable.

Mentorship: Work directly with experienced pros who value honesty, integrity, and helping the next generation of professionals succeed.

Who We Are Looking For

The "People Person": You’re comfortable talking to anyone and enjoy helping people solve simple problems.

The Reliable Teammate: You show up on time, take pride in your work, and follow through on tasks.

The Quick Learner: You’re comfortable with basic computer tasks (typing, email, Word) and aren't afraid to learn new software.

The Professional: You want to work in an environment where your hard work is noticed and your contribution to the community matters.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• A positive, "can-do" attitude.

• No previous office or insurance experience required—we will train you!
