Position Summary: The Superintendents primary function will be to represent ACD on site andmaintain the company's best interest. They will be responsible for communicating all laborrelated items to the GC on site. They will have direct communication with ACD PMs regardingschedule and material to be delivered on site. They will coordinate all labor needs for theirdesignated sites regarding subcontractors.Reports to: General SuperintendentResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:Subcontractor Relations:o Maintaining good working relationships with onsite subs and GCo Maintain and coordinate daily and weekly installation schedules and planso Know where each upcoming project is at and ensure front end coordination and field checks are completed and maintain the team's knowledge of site readiness and real time job progress.o Manage the expectations and commitments to and from the GC.o Ensure the work being done is acceptable based on the quality standards of ACDo Ensure that the subs have enough manpower on site to hit schedule deadlines.Internal Coordination:o Help the PMs to understand the status of install on their projects.o Assist PM in any material needs from the fieldo Compare invoices received from sub-contractors against work completed to ensure there is no over-billingo Manage site manpower needso Articulate any additional support needed to aid in successful execution of job responsibilities.On Site:o Superintendents are expected to spend their time in the field and work whatever hours are necessary to fulfill the expectations of the position. Minimum 45-hour work week.o Ensure weekly "Toolbox talks" are performed and submitted for every active projecto Perform bi-weekly safety audits of all projects.o Traveling and managing multiple projects is a requirement of this position.o Maintain consistent and timely onsite reports and reporting for both the project and ACD's internal team.o Ensure all material is inventoried upon delivery.o Maintain accurate inventory logs of the hardware/material room.o Maintain a pre-punch listo Attend GC progress meetings as requiredo Provide consultation to our customers on any issues that arise.o Communicate with the project Team to identify and resolve issuesRequired Skills and Abilities:o Must be able to read blueprints and drawingso Proficient in Microsoft office suiteEducation and Experience:o High School Diploma Requiredo 5 years of experience in a construction environment requiredPhysical Requirements:o Must be able to lift 50 poundso Travel 100% of the time
