We are growing rapidly and looking for high performers at every level to grow with us.POSITION SUMMARY:The Operations Team Member will be responsible for a variety of duties dependent upon the need for the day while providing participants with a quality program experience. This position is an active part of the conversion/changeover process before, during, and after events. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:Provide courteous and friendly service to all guests and staff Be responsive to guest concerns and direct to appropriate manager to resolve Follow all facility policies and proceduresHave general knowledge regarding program options and facility eventsAssist other departments as necessary Setup and take down of basketball courts, staging, risers, and other event related itemsEnsure correct equipment is available for all games and eventsMonitor play areas including turf and courtsKeep supervisor informed of issues and updates Complete and file corresponding paperwork as necessary Assist with daily maintenance and upkeep of department equipmentComplete special projects, daily assignments, and other duties as directed by managementMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends, holidays, and long hours) and regular attendance is necessaryExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenAbility to maintain focus in a high-volume, fast-paced environmentMust have excellent guest service skillsMust be detail-oriented and have outstanding organizational skillsAbility to multi-task and prioritizeAbility to remain calm and focused in difficult and stressful situationsMust be respectful and friendly to our athletes, guests, visitors, spectators, leaders and fellow team membersMust work well with othersMust take personal initiative for the betterment of the team and facilityCommitment to the safety and wellbeing of othersMust be able to work independently in a busy environmentMust be able to operate fork lift and other company vehiclesMust have valid driver's licenseWORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:Must be able to lift 50 pounds waist highWill be required to stand for extended periods of timeWill be required to work indoors and outdoors year-roundMust comply with safety and health code standardsFacility has intermittent noiseMust wear proper uniformPREFERRED:General sports and event knowledgeAble to work electric scoreboard
