We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Coordinator to support recruitment efforts and create a smooth experience for candidates and internal stakeholders in Wilmington, North Carolina. This contract-to-permanent opportunity is ideal for someone who is organized, responsive, and comfortable managing recruiting activities from sourcing through onboarding. The position will partner closely with hiring teams to keep searches moving efficiently while maintaining a consistent employer brand throughout the process.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate recruiting activities across the full recruitment cycle, from opening requisitions to preparing new team members for onboarding
• Source candidates with relevant experience through a variety of channels and help build active talent pipelines for current and future openings
• Schedule interviews, manage communication with applicants, and ensure each candidate receives timely updates throughout the process
• Support corporate recruiting efforts by working with hiring managers to align on role needs, interview logistics, and selection timelines
• Maintain accurate candidate and recruitment records within ADP Workforce Now and related recruiting tools
• Initiate and track background checks and other pre-employment steps to help ensure a smooth recruitment process
• Contribute to talent branding efforts by helping present a consistent and engaging experience for prospective employees• Experience supporting talent acquisition or corporate recruiting activities in a detail-oriented business environment
• Ability to assist with candidate sourcing, interview coordination, and hiring process administration
• Familiarity with full-cycle recruiting workflows, including pre-employment and onboarding steps
• Working knowledge of ADP Workforce Now or similar applicant tracking and HR systems
• Experience coordinating background checks and related hiring documentation
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple openings and priorities at once
• Clear written and verbal communication skills when working with candidates, recruiters, and hiring managers
