We are looking for a motivated Associate Attorney to join a growing legal team in San Ramon, California. This position offers the opportunity to handle a broad range of litigation matters, contribute to case strategy, and work closely with clients and colleagues across multiple areas of practice. The ideal candidate brings strong advocacy, writing, and analytical abilities, along with the judgment needed to move matters forward effectively from early assessment through resolution.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee litigation matters from initial case evaluation through settlement, trial, or other final disposition.
• Prepare persuasive legal documents, including complaints, motions, briefs, and related court submissions.
• Perform thorough legal research and translate findings into practical case strategies and recommendations.
• Lead discovery efforts by drafting written discovery, reviewing responses, and taking or defending depositions.
• Ready clients and witnesses for key proceedings such as hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trial appearances.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, case management conferences, and settlement discussions.
• Assess exposure, examine claims and defenses, and advise clients on risk and potential outcomes.
• Partner with attorneys in different practice areas to support litigation goals across commercial, insurance, real estate, employment, contract, partnership, and general civil disputes.

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Active admission and good standing with the California State Bar.
• Demonstrated ability in legal research, written advocacy, and case analysis.
• Hands-on experience with discovery, motion practice, and depositions.
• Familiarity with courtroom proceedings, arbitration, or mediation is an advantage.
• Ability to manage matters independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.
