We are looking for a detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to support daily administrative and front-office operations for a property team in Oakland, California. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who enjoys creating a welcoming environment, coordinating office activities, and assisting residents, visitors, and vendors effectively. The role requires strong organization, responsive communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while helping the office run efficiently.

Responsibilities:
• Oversee front desk and main office activities to maintain smooth day-to-day operations and a welcoming first point of contact.
• Direct incoming digital correspondence, mailed items, and courier shipments to the appropriate recipients, including assisting with outbound package preparation.
• Accept and organize deliveries such as office materials and equipment, ensuring items are received and distributed efficiently.
• Respond to questions from vendors, guests, and callers while providing helpful information about available housing-related resources and organizational services.
• Monitor building access by using the intercom system to verify authorized entry for employees and approved visitors.
• Coordinate office hospitality needs, including support for team meal arrangements and replenishment of snacks and refreshments.
• Provide administrative assistance for events, office initiatives, and special assignments as needed.
• Carry out additional clerical and operational tasks that support property management and office effectiveness.• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook for routine administrative and communication tasks.
• Strong general office support skills, including document handling, email correspondence, and filing or collating materials.
• Experience providing detail-oriented customer service in an office, property management, or administrative setting.
• Ability to manage billing-related tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Comfortable handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced front-office environment.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with visitors, vendors, and staff.
• Spanish language skills are preferred to support communication with a diverse community.
