Job Description
Step into a fulfilling role supporting early childhood learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in ages 3 to 5. Qualifications:
- Hold a current Minnesota SLP license (required; applications cannot be considered without this).
- Possess Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
- Previous experience in a school-based setting, especially early childhood or ECSE, preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise providing assessment and therapy for children aged 3-5 years.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with families, staff, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong organizational skills to manage timelines and caseload documentation.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy and conduct evaluations for ECSE students, supporting their development and educational success.
- Collaborate with classroom staff, families, and other service providers to create and implement individualized educational plans (IEPs).
- Complete timely documentation, including progress reports and data collection, ensuring compliance with district and state requirements.
- Engage in team meetings as needed, contributing professional insights and supporting student-centered decisions.
- Adapt interventions to suit varied student needs in an inclusive and supportive atmosphere.
This contract position involves 22.5 hours per week (three days), Monday through Friday, in a dynamic early childhood educational environment.
