LHH is partnering with a well-established organization in Austin to identify a Post Closing Coordinator to join their mortgage operations team. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with mortgage industry experience who enjoys working with documentation, compliance processes, and coordinating critical loan files.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring mortgage documents are accurately processed, tracked, and delivered to the appropriate investors and stakeholders. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, has strong organizational skills, and understands the importance of accuracy when handling loan documentation.

Pay Details: $21.00 to $22.00 per hour

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring mortgage documents are accurately processed, tracked, and delivered to the appropriate investors and stakeholders. Responsibilities
- Process incoming and outgoing mail using USPS, UPS, and FedEx services
- Ensure mortgage loan documents are properly scanned, indexed, and filed within company systems
- Coordinate the shipment of closed loan files to investors and other stakeholders
- Monitor reports and track document status to ensure deadlines are met
- Manage Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems (MERS) related functions
- Support Secondary Marketing activities as needed
- Review files for completeness and accuracy
- Research and resolve documentation or shipping issues
- Maintain organized records and ensure compliance with company procedures
- Experience using USPS, UPS, and FedEx shipping platforms
- Mortgage industry experience, preferably in post-closing operations
- Knowledge of Secondary Marketing processes
- Experience performing MERS functions
- Experience shipping mortgage loan closed files
- Familiarity with Loan Origination Systems (LOS)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Experience processing high volumes of documentation and data
- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on accuracy
